| Delivery
Just so you don’t have to stay in all day, if you request it we can arrange for the delivery men to telephone you on your mobile phone an hour before they arrive at your house.
Once
we have processed your order and sent you confirmation by e-mail we
shall then contact you to arrange a delivery day that is suitable for
you. You must let us know if there are difficulties with access to the
delivery address. Let
us know if you require the extra service of mobile phone contact by
the delivery team. We
will give the delivery company your email address and they will auto
email you with an anticipated delivery time on the last working day
before your delivery. 2.
The delivery team will introduce themselves and identify the item they
are delivering. 3.
The item will be delivered to the room of your choice where there is
clear & unrestricted access. 4.
The item will be unpacked for inspection, and repacked at your request. 5.
A proof of delivery will be obtained by the delivery men on their delivery
manifest. Do not sign unless you have inspected the goods. 6.
All items must be checked before they are signed for; if you are unhappy
with the goods in any way you must tell the delivery men before they
leave so that Castle Hill Furniture can be contacted while the delivery
team are still on site. Failure to do this may result in any claims
for damage being refused. 8. If there are any problems regarding the delivery the delivery team will contact their customer service team who will contact Castle Hill Furniture for guidance, they will do this while they are still at your address.
If
you are out on the agreed delivery day the delivery team will attempt
to call you on the telephone number you have given them to advise you
of the attempted delivery. If you are not immediately available the
courier will not be able to wait due to the pressure of other deliveries
and will leave. If
you cannot be contacted the delivery man will put a card through your
letter box informing you of the failed delivery attempt, including details
of additional charges you will have to pay for a second delivery attempt.
Failure to have someone present to accept a delivery at the agreed time
will result in you being levied extra charges as delivery companies
will always charge us. If
the delivery team are unable to make a delivery because you refuse to
accept an item for any other reason than damage or incorrect goods supplied
they will contact their own customer services team who will call Castle
Hill Furniture. Please
note it is your responsibility to make sure that goods will fit into
your home and through internal doorways. Check the size of stairs and
doorways before you order, our furniture sizes as stated on the website
can vary by as much as 5cm. We are unable to offer any refunds when
furniture cannot be delivered to your door or into your house because
it is too big or there are problems with access. We
will always do everything we can to help make your delivery easy, however
we will expect you to take full responsibility for any information you
give to us or the courier and for any information that you withhold.
