Please read these terms of use carefully before using our site. These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. By using our site, you signify your assent to these terms of use.

Prices

All prices shown are VAT inclusive

Security

We use 128 bit SSL encryption to securely process your payment, this means that your credit card details are encrypted until they reach us.

Confirmation of your order:

We will contact you by email to confirm your order within 24 hours of receiving it (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays), please read and check this confirmation carefully. If it is incorrect please contact us by e-mail info@castlehillfurniture.co.uk.

Questions

We will respond to any questions you send to us by email info@castlehillfurniture.co.uk within 24 hours (Monday – Friday, excluding bank holidays).

Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We collect information about you only to process your order and provide you with the best possible service. We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. We will always give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us and never pass your details on to a third party.

The type of information we will collect about you includes:

Address
Phone number
Email address
Credit/debit card details - for sales transactions only.

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law. No personal or credit card details are saved on our server.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of the order and goods will not be dispatched until payment has cleared.

We accept payment by Mastercard, Visa, Delta, Swith/Maestro,Solo, Electron and Diner’s Club cards. We do not accept American Express at this time.
Where an item is out of stock we will take a deposit of 20% of the value of the order. The balance will be taken when the goods are ready to be dispatched to you.

Goods which are out of stock may take up to 12 weeks to deliver.

Cancellation

If you cancel your order you must do so 48hours before they are due to be received into our warehouse, failure to do so may result in an administration fee being charged dependant upon the goods on order.

Delivery

Free delivery on items over £100.

You must familiarise yourself with our delivery details which are to be found separately in our navigation above.

Returns and Guarantee

Your furniture is inspected in our warehouse upon receipt and again before dispatch; if it is damaged we will not dispatch it to you but will inform you of any delay.

If goods are found to be damaged when you inspect them at the time of delivery we will replace them free of charge.

All goods must be examined at the time of the delivery while the delivery team is still present. If items are damaged we must be contacted while the delivery team is still there so that goods can be refused and returned with the courier. There are no exceptions to this rule; failure to carry out this procedure will result in claims for damage being refused.

We accept no liability for goods returned by any other method than by our designated courier.

Please do not return goods to us unless requested by us to do so as this may result in extra costs to you which may not be refunded.
Any goods which are returned to us must be in their original condition and in their original packaging, please ensure packaging is secured.

Where items have been returned to us in contravention of our terms and conditions and arrive in a damaged condition we may make a charge of between 30% - 80% of the value of the item plus delivery.

We are unable to refund goods which cannot be delivered to or into your home/ rooms due to access issues, including where furniture is too large for the room. Please see our delivery section for more details.

Accuracy

We always try to ensure accuracy however Castle Hill Furniture cannot be held responsible for errors on the website including but not limited to prices. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, to cancel orders or refund any monies paid.

While we try to reproduce all colours and finishes accurately those shown on our website are subject to limitations from photographic processes and cannot be guaranteed as representative. Our products are hand finished and paints/stains, dyes, fabric and leather components are subject to variation in colour and grain. We recommend you purchase different items from a range at the same time to ensure colour matches.

Extra Charges

We have a policy of not hiding any charges, if there is any additional charge to be added to your order you will be notified and we will not process payment until you confirm acceptance of these charges.

Distance selling

If having ordered a piece of furniture you decide within 7 days of acceptance that you no longer want the piece then we will refund or exchange to the value of your order. In this case, we will charge for delivery and collection, in addition we will charge an administration fee.

Restriction on use of material.

No material from www.castlehillfurniture.co.uk or any web site owned, licensed or controlled by them may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any way, without the prior consent of castlehillfurniture.co.uk. We do however permit you to download the information contained on this site to a single computer for your own personal non-commercial reference provided all information is kept in its original form with all copyright and proprietary notices intact. Modification of the materials or use of the materials for any other purpose is a violation of castlehillfurniture.co.uk’s copyright and other rights. In the event you download software from the site, the software, including any files, images incorporated in or generated by the software, and data accompanying the software are licensed to you by castlehillfurniture.co.uk which retains full and complete title to all information contained within this site.

Environmental Policy

To reduce our burden upon the environment we shall not usually send you a paper copy of your order or an invoice, thus reducing paper and fuel use. The emails that we send to you are proof of purchase. You may wish to print these out for your own records, which still saves on fuel.

Packaging that we remove from your home is recycled.
